Doge to Other Digital Currency

You've got a ton of Dogecoin that you want to sell for other digital currency or your country's fiat currency. What do you do, where do you go?

Here are various ways on how this can be done.

  1. Doge to other Digital Currency websites like Cryptsy, BTER, Coins-E, etc...

  2. Peer to Peer Exchanges where one person sends another Doge in exchange for money or other digital currency

  3. Doge to Digital Currencies (BIT, LTC, ...etc) to Fiat Currency. A popular way to do this is for instance, trade your DOGE for Bitcoin, transfer your Bitcoin to Coinbase and cash out in your country's currency via bank account.

Selling Dogecoin

Bank of Satoshi was just opened up and is accepting Doge to fiat currency withdrawls. Exciting! Only draw back right now is that they only accept withdrawls by email, you only pay the fee we thye pay their bank. Bank Wires have to be a minimum of $1,000.00 and come with a bank fee of 0.2% (Minimum $25.00, Maximum $135) For any other amount you can request a check for free.

I'm sure in the near future they will be accepting other ways for payment. Crossing fingers.

Doge to Digital Currency to Fiat Currency to Bank Account

For the most part, there are not a ton of places where you can trade Doge for fiat currency. You have to go thorugh a middle man to do so. As mentioned above, one of the ways is to trade your Dogecoin to Bitcoin (recommended) with one of the exchanges above, then transfer your Bitcoin to Coinbase or a simiar site, and then sell your Bitcoin for Fiat currency of your choice. Once you sell your Bitcoin, you can then transfer to your bank account.

Coinbase is where you would sell your Bitcoin and then withdraw to your bank account. So the way Coinbase works is, you sign up, add your bank account and a credit card to buy instant. The only drawback is that, that credit card needs to be a visa and it cannot be a debit card. This means that your transaction will take anywhere between 4-5 days to go through to your bank account. That is their only drawback. Hopefully they will accept visa and debit soon.

Last but not least, eBay is another place where if you have Doge you can list and sell. You would have to pay the eBay listing fee and the 10% selling fee as well as the Paypal fees (hence why your selling price would have to be higher than any exchange), but people do buy them from here. It's another peer to peer option.

CoinEx is fairly new and still in beta, but it has a cool chat, which most exchanges don't, it has a lot of digital currencies, and most people really seem to like it. I would say that most people I have talked to use Cryptsy and CoinEx. They say it is a little faster at times, and when Cryptsy is down they use it as well. So 2 thumbs up for CoinEx.
